Online Gambling Movie Rumor To Bet On!

Three of Hollywood's hottest have teamed up for a new movie about the high-stakes world of online gambling world. A new Hollywood movie about online gambling is reported to have Bruce Willis, Justin Timberlake and Catherine Zeta-Jones on its role list.

The gambling movie could start shooting since last April. Not long after the producers of poker classic "Rounders" revealed plans of an upcoming sequel, another project has caught the attention of gambling movie fans across the globe.

Several movie websites have just revealed that a new movie about online gambling is underway. "Lay the Favorite, Take the Dog" is the new addition to the family and Bruce Willis has the role of Douglas 'Dink' Heimowitz, who introduces the main character Beth Raymer to the gambling world.

According to Gambling Online Magazine, the new movie will portrait the rise of online gambling in the late 90's with a mouthwatering line-up of A-list actors. Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Timberlake are all mentioned to be appearing in the movie, which has yet to be named.

The film is being directed by Stephen Frears and is based on the book of the same name by Beth Raymer, who fell into the world of men who made a livelihood from betting. She’d just left college in Florida before working at several betting agencies here, where she placed bets on behalf of her bosses. She says their gambling was barely on the right side of the law and sometimes not.

Bruce has already arrived in town and enjoyed dinner last night with a group of friends in a private dining room at Strip House at Planet Hollywood.

Based on cocktail waitress Beth Raymer's memoirs, the movie will see Bruce Willis in the starring role as "Dink", a gambler down on his luck, while Zeta-Jones and Timberlake are alleged to be in talks with producers from Focus Films regarding their own leading roles.

The story of Beth Raymer takes its point of departure when she is seven years old and introduced to gambling for the first time by her race dog fanatic father. Later on, she would team up with a group of math whiz kids to become a major player in the world of online sports gambling.

Movies with gambling themes are certainly not a new phenomenon, but they still tend to attract much attention. Among other Rounders and Ocean's Eleven, etc. has had many people going to the movie theaters.
